Vintage Goods

At the Clear Lake, IA show--Antiques on the Square (aka: Antiques in the Park), I found this little painted (by friend, Sherry) wooden coffee pot thingey and loaded it up with vintage jewelry (from friend, Sherry's Mom).














And, this weird vintage "shirt"-over that might be useful someday for something.

Most needed are the ceramic buttons for a sweater that now I must finish!

When we were in Uppsala, SE, I was attracted to, and photographed, the graffiti around town.
I do not know what any of it means, but love the texture and coloration.

New Word

I have read Needled, by Kate Davies for some time now . . . her words of recovery and strength sometimes balance my day, or my moment. I sometimes feel yucky and she helps me not. And, I love her knitting. I read her before her blogging about her recovery.

I remembered a phrase that she used some posts ago, but could not remember it. I went searching and found it on her blog, May 16.
